Sticky Mango Chutney Chicken Wings


  • 1kg chicken wings
  • 4 tbsp mango chutney
  • 2 limes, one juiced and 1 cut into wedges
  • Rapeseed oil
  • 2 spring onions, finely sliced
  • 0 : 45

    Combine the oil, mango chutney and lime juice in a zip lock sandwich bag and add the chicken wings. Seal the bag and massage/shake to evenly coat the wings.

    Pre-heat the BBQ – we used the E Braai and set the temperature to around 190°C.

    Add the wings to the BBQ Grid, cover with the lid and cook for around 45 minutes, turning half way during cooking. Baste with the remaining marinade when you turn the wings.

    Once the chicken is cooked through and the skin is golden and crispy remove from the heat.

    Sprinkle with the spring onion and garnish with the lime wedges before serving.
