Add the pizza stone to the pot stand on a cold BBQ, place the lid on and pre-heat for 3-4 minutes.
Make your pizza sauce; combine the pesto, tomato puree and dried herbs and then spread over the pitta breads. Divide the spring onions and mozzarella cheese between the pizzas and then carefully place on the pizza stone.
Cook for 5-6 minutes on a low heat or until the cheese has melted and the base is crisp.
You can use any toppings you want, mushrooms or ham make a great addition. A great recipe for kids to get involved in adding their own toppings.
