Savoury Mini Pancakes


  • 125g self-raising flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 250ml milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted
  • 0 : 10

    Sift the flour and salt into a bowl, add the milk and mix until smooth. Finally add the beaten egg and melted butter.

    Pre-heat the BBQ over a medium heat for 2-3 minutes with a flat cooking surface in place. Wipe the surface with oil and pour enough batter to create a small pancake, around 10cm in diameter. As soon as the batter begins to bubble, flip over and cook until golden. Repeat until all the batter is finished.

    You can add almost any flavour to the batter before cooking, some suggestions are below:

    • Crispy bacon bits and chopped chive. • Sweet corn kernels, chilli, and coriander • Parmesan or pecorino cheese. • Sliced olives.
