Mix the flour, water, salt and 2 tsp oil in a bowl and knead until smooth and no longer sticky. Add a little flour if necessary. Then leave the dough to rest for at least 10-15 minutes to rise.
Meanwhile, cut the bacon into small cubes, slice the onion and chives. Pre-heat the BBQ over a medium heat for 2-3 minutes then fry the bacon and onions until lightly browned. Set this aside and remove the fat with kitchen paper from the cooking surface.
Divide the dough in half and roll it out thinly into a flat bread. Add the flat bread to the grill and cook for about 2 minutes, with the lid on.
Flip the flatbreads and spread evenly with the sour cream. Then divide the onions and bacon over the flatbread and bake them for a further 3 to 5 minutes over a low to medium heat.
Finish with the chopped chives and serve straight away!
