Classic Margherita Pizza


  • 4 balls of pizza dough
  • 400g low moisture mozzarella cheese
  • 100g cherry tomatoes
  • 400g pizza sauce
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • Basil leaves
  • Olive oil
  • Semolina powder / coarse flour

    Allow your pizza stone to preheat with the BBQ with the lid on, over a medium heat for 4-5 minutes.

    Shape your dough with your hands, using a coarse flour or semolina powder on the work surface and pizza stone will stop it sticking.

    Top the dough with pizza sauce, the mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, and oregano then transfer to the preheated pizza stone. Pop the lid on the BBQ and cook on a low heat for about 5 minutes.

    Turn the pizza around during cooking, then finish with a drizzle of olive oil and torn basil leaves. Repeat for the remaining three pizzas!
