Balsamic Glazed Beef Wraps


  • Tortilla wraps
  • 900g beef fillet or rump
  • 1 tbsp crushed black peppercorns
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • Lettuce, sprouts and watercress

    Rub the crushed peppercorns, olive oil and salt into the beef and set aside. Using the Grill 2 Braai plate, or any other cooking surface, pre-heat the BBQ for 2-3 minutes. Once hot add the beef to the ribbed section and fry for 2-3 minutes on each side (medium) or cook to your liking depending on the thickness of the meat. Remove and wrap in tin foil to rest.

    While the meat is resting, warm tortilla wraps individually over medium to low heat on the flat side of the Grill 2 Braai.

    Slice the beef into strips then toss with the soy sauce and balsamic. Top the wraps with the vegetables/salad and beef them roll and serve immediately.
