Using the CADAC | Dometic Soft Soak

With the CADAC | Dometic Soft Soak, you’ll never have to worry about scrubbing your barbecue grids again. This handy accessory makes for fuss-free cleaning, so you can spend more time on what really matters: enjoying delicious BBQ food outdoors, without worrying about having to clean your BBQ Grids and pans in small communal washing-up sinks.

The CADAC | Dometic Soft Soak is made of food-safe, heat-resistant silicone. This soft and pliable material is lightweight and flexible, allowing for easy use and storage without weighing you down. Available in a range of sizes, the Soft Soak is specially designed for griddles with a maximum diameter of 30, 40 and 50cm respectively. A special Soft Soak 2 Cook has been developed for the ribbed and flat grill plates of the 2 Cook 2, 2 Cook 3 and Cook Turbo ranges.

How does the Soft Soak work?

Our Soft Soaks are very easy to use, just follow this step-by-step guide:

1. Choose the right sized Soft Soak to meet the size of your BBQ Grid or pan

2. Pour hot, soapy water into the Soft Soak

3. Place your BBQ Grid or cooking plate upside-down into the soapy water. Ensure that your BBQ Grid or pan is fully cooled down before submerging them into water

4. Allow to soak for 60 minutes, ensuring all food debris has had chance to soften and loosen off the grid

5. Clean off all debris using the Soft Soak Brush (or a soft dishcloth or sponge) and rinse in clean hot water

6. Dry off your cooking surface and it is ready to be packed away
